In short
Zhittya reported dosing its 175th participant with Parkinson's. Research studies continued through the month.
Most of the June update covered other research areas and company matters. The Parkinson's news was brief.
The team had just finished dosing its 25th group of participants. That brought the total to more than 175 people who had received FGF-1 by nasal spray in the Parkinson's research. The update said the majority of participants continued to report improvement.
Brain blood-flow scans at Washington University in St. Louis, taken before and after FGF-1 dosing, were continuing.
The update shared comments from six participants or family members. They wrote about taste and smell, voice, energy, thinking, breathing, stiffness, tremor, hallucinations and memory. Some also described problems that had not gone away, including back pain, constipation, balance and falls.
