In short
Participants with Parkinson's sent reports about mobility, thinking, speech and daily function. Zhittya also prepared to begin studies in other conditions in early 2026.
Most of the November 2025 update covered other research areas and company business. The items about the Parkinson's research are summarized here.
Dan Montano, the chief executive, wrote that Zhittya had dosed 230 people with Parkinson's and had seen improvement in most of them. Vika Montano gave the wider count: more than 230 people with Parkinson's, five who had had a stroke, two with dementia and two with autism. She wrote that FGF-1 is given as a spray into the nose.
Mr. Montano wrote that the team's knowledge had grown many times over since it began dosing people with Parkinson's, and that each new piece of information let it adjust the procedure.
Participant reports
The update shared comments from three participants or family members. One came from a participant in the very first study group, more than three and a half years earlier. Topics across the three included sitting still, eating, balance, tremor, handwriting, voice and saliva control.
The longest was a family's account of a participant who had a serious fall and a hospital stay, on top of Parkinson's, and of the months afterward. Among other things it mentioned that the dosing schedule had changed from every three months to every other week, and that newer applicators let a person be dosed sitting upright. The family also described exercise, acupuncture, diet changes and other measures alongside FGF-1, and said tremor and stiffness remained.
The update noted that the brain imaging studies at Washington University in St. Louis, which measure brain blood flow before and after dosing, were continuing.
